Woolzies are pure handmade New Zealand wool dryer balls that soften your laundry naturally without any of the chemicals of conventional fabric softeners.

When Woolzies offered to send me some of their dryer balls to review, I could not wait to try them out. Do you know that regular fabric softener contain so many chemicals? These chemicals are bad for the environment and can cause allergic reaction in some people. As I talk about often my five year old son has bad eczema and his skin is very sensitive to detergent and fabric softeners so Woolzies are perfect for us.

Woolzies not only soften, reduce static and helps eliminate wrinkles but they also help reduce your drying time. Want to know another awesome ting about Woolzies? They are made to last at least 1,000 loads!

When my boys first saw them in the dryer they were a little confused. lol They thought I had put softballs in the dryer and were trying to get them out to play with them. I was surprised that Woolzies do not make a huge banging noise while drying and it cut my drying time by at least 10 minutes.

Head over to Woolzies and check out how awesome these dryer balls work. You can also find them on Facebook and Twitter.

  64. kathy pease says:

Rubber and plastic balls are made from harsh chemicals including PVCs which are released onto your laundry by the hot dryer air. Not only are these types of dryer balls dangerous to your health, they are toxic to the environment as well. Additionally, the harsh tumbling action of rubber, plastic and tennis balls can damage your dryer’s sensitive electronic sensors. Finally, some of these types of balls may even melt slightly and cause fabric staining.
